Lost: Five Season 4 Finale Predictions

By: BuddyTV

As excitement builds up for the much-anticipated two-hour finale of Lost, theories have been thrown like they were all season long on how things will be resolved as the season ends. The things that we are certain for right now are the following: the island has to be moved, something has happened to Claire, and the Oceanic 6 will be taken off the island. Surely in the Lost universe, things are not always simple as they seem, especially in a finale as intense as this.

As early as the third episode of season 1, Lost viewers have realized that something is amiss with how time passes in the island. It was made clear that time on the island is very different from time in the real, outside world. In another episode, however, it was revealed that time in and off the island is the same and the disparity only occurs while traveling between the two. It is in this light that the first event is premised on. It seems highly likely that the island will not be moved physically, but in time. If this is done, however, it presents more questions, such as how the Oceanic 6 will return to the island in the future if it is moved. On the other hand, will this mean the Oceanic 6 will be able to go slightly back in time to rectify some things on the island?

In "Cabin Fever," there is no doubt that something mysterious has happened to Claire. We will likely find out what in the finale but it is very likely that whatever it is, it will make her absent throughout the next season, only returning on the one after that.

Some Lost theorists believe that season 5 will be all about the Oceanic 6. And six these people have been taken off the island, an event or person will make them go back, setting up what would be an even more amazing fifth installment.
